91.   The prosecutor in the UN tribunal trying Slobodan Milosevic said Tuesday that she was confident that the court would convict the former Serb strongman on war crimes charges.

92.   The trial against the former Serb strongman opened at the UN war crimes tribunal in February.

93.   The Yugoslav parliament adopted on Thursday a foreign investment law aimed at attracting desperately needed funds to revive the economy, devastated under former strongman Slobodan Milosevic.

94.   The unrepentant former Serb strongman has refused to cooperate with the tribunal and challenged the legitimacy of the court.

95.   The visit will be followed by a detailed medical examination to ascertain whether the former strongman is healthy enough to stand trial.

96.   While the tribunal is preparing for the most important case in its short history, the former Serb strongman himself is also preparing to do battle in court.

97.   Zimbabwe has up until now turned down a request from the government of President Meles Zenawi to extradite the former military strongman.

98.   Jelisaveta Maric too told AFP she feared the prosecution would fail to prove the case against the former Yugoslav strongman.

99.   Lawyer Mohammed Assegaf, who visited Suharto late Friday, said the former strongman had been unable to speak, but was able to recognise his visitors.
