1.   Funding is an area of potential conflict between the two departments.

2.   In a search for greater efficiency, the two departments have merged.

3.   The responsibilities of the two departments overlap in certain areas.

4.   The two departments have slight functional differences.

5.   The two departments operate independently of each other.

6.   The new agency will oversee the coordination of the various departments.

7.   It is anticipated that their wages will be the same as those transferred from the other department.

8.   The HCIMA Chief Executive, has the ultimate responsibility for all the work undertaken by the various departments.

9.   Each cruise line company has its own management structure -- at Carnival Cruise Lines the two departments are separately administered and both have their own career development.

10.   However, there must be a district involvement in the task force to ensure a continuity, and occasional Regional representation from the other departments.
