1. A number of authors, whose work will be considered below, have attempted explanations largely in terms of social class. 2. A strong correlation exists between social class and exam success. 3. Age specific death rates do not differ much between the non-manual social classes. 4. As expected, the association between social class and housing tenure is very strong. 5. Beats varying by social class might mean a different perception. 6. Bowel training showed less social class difference possibly because there are clearer anticipating signs of passing a motion. 7. Broadly speaking, the less social closure there is, the less cohesive the social class grouping will be. 8. But when couples were asked how many children they were likely to have in reality, bigger social class differences became apparent. 9. By comparison, social class, the system of stratification in capitalist industrial society, provides an example of an open system. 10. Coverage by occupational pension schemes is not, however, evenly distributed amongst all social classes. |
