1. She loosened the cake from the sides of the pan. 2. An hour before serving, run a knife around edge of pan to loosen cake and remove springform side of pan. 3. At serving time, run a knife around edge of pan to loosen cake and remove springform side of pan. 4. Carefully, loosen cake around sides and tube with a sharp knife, then carefully, invert onto rack and turn right-side-up. 5. Dip a long sharp knife in warm water and run knife around inside of springform pan, loosening cake from pan. 6. Loosen the cake in the pan by running a knife around the side. 7. Run a knife around the inside edge of the pan to loosen the cake from the sides of the pan. 8. Run a sharp knife around edges of pan to loosen cake. 9. Turn pan right-side up and rap sharply on counter to loosen cake. 10. When cake has cooled, loosen cake by running a knife around sides of pan, then remove sides of springform pan. |
