1.   A Finnish foreign ministry official is suspected of passing classified information to Russia, including documents about the European Union, the ministry said Wednesday.

2.   The Finnish ministry said the pilot was a Canadian, but did not have his name.

3.   The talks lasted more than three hours and involved officials of the German, Austrian and Finnish foreign ministries, a spokesman for the German Embassy in Beijing said.

10.   PLO leader Yasser Arafat will briefly visit Finland on Sunday and will have talks with Finnish president and prime minister, the Finnish foreign ministry said here Thursday.
