A slow-moving disturbance will produce a broken area of clouds and thundershowers from southern Michigan to the central Appalachians. 6. A rapidly moving jet stream disturbance may produce an early morning rain or snow shower near the North Carolina coast. 7. A strong jet stream disturbance will produce mostly cloudy skies and a few showers over the upper Midwest and the Great Lakes. 8.
